I would love to run 10's on the stock turbo.

 

Thanks guys, car feels great... Track was nice last nite too... Had I been at the 2550 weight I think its safe to say I wulda at least tied king Kong Lmao... But that was yesterday... I only worry about my next visit lol... That 10.7 came with a price tho.. at the end of the pass wen I turned off I herd a loud clunking noise... Car still drives n I didnt see any leakes but wen I turn it clunks.. any ideas Wat it can be?

 

In the past, that has been the transfercase diff, but that seems unlikely because it's a limited slip RS transfercase. I would check the axles to make sure they are OK, and then check out the transfercase really carefully.

Yeah, thas the one thing I'm hoping its not! I rather have the Tranny blow up lol.. really hope its the axle

 

you broke the diff in the transfer case, i had that same clunk

I'm not 100% certain that's what it is though, since it's not an open diff front, and it's fully built. No reason that should ever let go! It does have the symptoms of it though.

 

It would actually be an easier and cheaper fix if it is the front diff in the transfer case. you can actually change out the diff without removing the entire transfer case. my first time it took me about 2.5 hrs to change out the front diff.

 

Sucks because I cant even check today, i get off at 8 then have a few tows to do... But i left her at my buddies garage n he Juss called n said he took thr front wheels off, everything is completely dry underneath & both front axles are mint :/

First off congrats on some awesome runs. The car never disappoints and on the first outing you ran super impressive times. But to clarify a few things. Lana's old time is not 10.6, it is 10.2. And someone else mentioned its knocking on her 10.2 with the 10.7 run. Let me tell you that is a huge gap especially on stock turbo. That is why we are closing in on 3 years of holding that record. Not taking away from anything but just want to show how hard AWD, Crispeed, Buschur, myself, and the rest of the sponsors worked for that record. If you need any help shoot me a pm. whats up bro, ur absolutley right about the huge window. But if I'm not mistaken, didn't u run that time with a built motor & a stock turbo? I think Marks record is 10.6 stock block, unported head & stock turbo... I'm DEFF not taking anything away from u at all . Before I even bought the car i was aware of ur record on stock turbo, but I had u in a whole nother big dog league lol. As Lana sits now its Juss stock block, unported head with cams, stock turbo with bolt ons as I'm sure u kno. & if I'm mistaken about the 10.6 record than my fault, Juss goin by what everyone else was sayin. I do appreciate the props tho bro. I told u from day one, she's in good hands! I just want to fix the clunking noise problem I'm having & refreshen the trans & run the best possible time I can. As u kno, I'm new to the awd turbo world. But I'm a very quick leaner. I will most deff pm u with any questions I may have. Thanks again

 

Hey man, you should bring the car out to Akuma Motorsports in Woodbridge, NJ this Sunday...They are having an open house/BBQ...I am heading out there with a couple buddies and would love to check out the car!
