That's just awesome. Man, 88k miles is like a baby compared to yours. I feel even better about my car!

Looking forward to seeing your Evo hit that 300k mark in the next few months I have had a lot of 200+k cars in my past and all have served me well when maintained

Thanks,
Dallin

I am guessing that if you drive it lots the constant heat cycling keeps rust and moisture in check vs something that sits.

250k ... hmm you've spent as much on gas as a new evo haha

My engine bay looks better than some garage queens I seen as far as corrosion, LOL

Daily driver. My commute is about 120-140 a day round trip. And I drive all over on the weekends.

Only 12K left till 300K.

I'm a little behind schedule due to the fact I try to ride my motorcycles to work, one or two days a week to keep them going well too.

it makes me feel like s*** knowing this dudes up to about 300,000 miles and still going and my cars stationary with 72,000 miles props though keep the mileage going and mitsubishi may pay you a visit someday to see how the hell your still going. Are you still on your stock drivetrain?

that is INSANE. is this really all the repairs (or non-normal maintenance) that you've had to do up to 200k?

64K, got that car used. It had DP,Intake,MBC.
65K- Did a Full Timing belt service with WP. Installed BOV, Fuel pump, Turbo Timer, and Brake guides.
80K - Brakes- Installed Brake Guides. Rotors and Pads changed due to warping and being worn. I lived with the warped rotors until I needed to change the pads.
85K- New silicone wipers
91K- Installed new headlight indicator bulb(blew out)
115K- Replaced both front wheel bearings due to noise
120K- Another Timing belt service with WP. Changed Spark plug wires too, just because.
140K Vortex generator and headlight eyebrows added
155K- Installed Pioneer AVIC head unit. Needed an IPOD with all of the driving.
166K- Installed Oil pressure sender, original one kept causing oil light to come on. Pressure was okay.
173K- Installed HVAC display bulbs(one blew out) also another headlight indicator bulb.
181K- Timing belt service again with WP
183K- Installed HVAC Gear kit (hard to turn)
185K- Installed Greddy Full Titanium Cat back and Kelfords installed
186K- Amsoil fluids
197K- Installed AMS LICP
204K- 100 cell Mil.Spec cat installed

Yes, I have a list from 200-300, but of course I need to drive 12K to finish the list. And as I write this, another HVAC bulb just went out last night,LOL

This thread is awesome! Glad to see an Evo make it 200k before a rebuild.

I'm just amazed on how clean the body is. Here in Wi that thing be a rust bucket by now. I've seen 2006 evos with more rust then that.
