Had a similar story, my damage was worse though:

If you're in the SoCal area and need a rim repair job you should hit this place up. PM me for contact info, not sure if I can post it publicly..

The spoke deign of the RS lends itself to all sorts of damage. That sucks.

They turned out amazing!

I'm wondering if the strength of the wheels were compromised in the damage. What exactly did they do besides paint match the wheels and grind down the curbage? Are all the wheels still straight and true after a balance?

Yeah i made sure the logos would not be painted over or i would have flipped out on them. Only one wheel has damage on the logo that could not be saved.

Took the wheels to a balance shop and put them in a machine that turns the wheels and tells you where to put pieces of metal for balancing.. Anyway the wheels turned perfectly with no sign of being bent or anything.

The question was for you Remixx, as the OP's damage was not too bad.

The lip of the wheel had to have metal welded back on. Everything else including the spokes were sanded down. Surprisingly, the integrity of the wheel was not affected..

That is amazing as the damage done looks completely irreparable. The shop seems to have done a nice job, and hopefully the wheels hold up for years to come.

It takes a lot to damage the structure of a high-end wheel like Advans.

Some great looking repairs in here guys.

Was driving the car for a year on 24psi. A day before this happened i upped them up to 35psi all around. Not to make any excuses but the car felt like it would slide at any turn with just a little bit of acceleration.. and that was too much fun lol... which led me to eventually hit a curb really really hard. I thought i had done much more damage than just the wheels. Outcome of this is that the Advans are some seriously strong wheels.. and that i should keep drifting in open areas or on the track

Did you have to buy new advan stickers for it? Or were they able to re-paint it with the original stickers on it?
