Boost issue???

Ok so i have a little problem. I removed my Hallman MBC and put on stock lines. Well there not oem but they are the same. Im only spooling up to 15lbs.
I went by this diagram.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...id-control.jpg

I bought the car this way. So i would think it was tuned. But then again i maybe wasn't. And there's no way to contact the buy i got it from. So let me know what you all think. Iv'e seen alot of threads saying check for leaks. I have! Noting. Tightened all the clamps up. Oh and i have a 2005 RS and they claim to be pushing 20.3 stock according to a thread on here.

Thanks

Be careful when stating that the vacuum lines are stock, eventhough they are not OEM, but that they are the same. No offense but your statements are contradictory and almost qualify as borderline oxymoronic.

Either they are stock lines or they are not. I suggest that you go to the parts desk at your local Mitsu dealership and ask for a factory legit vacuum/boost hose assembly. The part number is, MN 143555.

The authentic hose assembly contains two restrictor orifices preinstalled inside the hoses themselves. It comes assembled with the appropriate vacuum "T" and the necessary hose clamps.

swing by your dealer and grab a boost control solenoid, i bought one for mine and fixed this problem, Also run a boost leak test it funny how much a little leak can cause such a problem.

You'll be OK as long as the boost solenoid(BCS) and the hose assembly are genuine Mitsubishi parts. Why did you decide to go back to the stock setup from your MBC?

Bc i bought the car this way. Pretty much as soon as he bought this boost controller i came along and bought the car. So he left it on there and i removed it. I don't like aftermarket parts. Only after market things i'll do is an intake and a exhaust. I just like stock bc it lasts longer. Less problems and in the long run nothing will get damaged. Iv'e just seen all this minor little problems when people start tuning and running rich or lean and so forth. Ill be honest i dont understand how this stuff works bc im not exposed to this stuff. If i understood how this stuff worked. Yea i'd get a tune and keep the hallman.
