Alternator?

Noticed that my car was hesitating to start up yesterday and at the end of the night, my car wouldnt start. It sounded like a dead battery. Jumped it, drove it home and this morning it wouldn't start, jumped it again and drove around for like 20 mins and when I went to start it again maybe 30 mins later... It wouldn't start.

I'm guessing alternator?

Need opinions thanks!

I'm guessing battery, not alternator. If alt was bad, you jump started battery would have only lasted 5 minutes.

I had the same issue. I took the battery out to go get tested and it came back 100%. I put it back in and still had the same issue. I finally figured out that the terminals kept getting corrosion and pretty much surrounded the battery terminal. Cleaned off the terminals and has been good ever since Might not hurt to check your terminals

on another note if your idle is droppin and going back up randomly and battery was already changed to new car starts up etc no boost leaks that could be the altenator correct or the terminals??

Perform Idle learn.

Up and down RPM would/could be IAC/ISC motor especially if you have no boost leaks.

Alt. output at idle should be anywhere above 13.6 volts. If not, it's bad.
