fender question

is there a difference between the evo 8 and evo 9 fenders? I just picked up an evo 8 and i noticed the fenders are slightly different. I know that the car was in an accident and the driver fender was replaced. I also know that the fenders were rolled. so follow up question would be, could rolling the fender pull the fender out 5+mm? also it looks like the gap between fender and door is 1/16in more on the passenger. I was reading something about the fender being bolted in different bolts ? or maybe its a combination. I did a little looking around but didn't see an answer to my particular question.
