Quick Question on '04 models

Does anyone know for sure when the new '04 models are coming out and whether or not auto a/c will be an option?
I read that leather and an enhanced sound system will be optional, but thats about it..

please help.. im trying to debate whether to wait for the '04 or just get an '03... the only potential option i cared about was the auto a/c, i dont care about the leather or the sound system

Auto a/c = more complexity, more weight, more things to go wrong and quit working, more money.

More, more, more, more all in the wrong direction. I hope they keep it as an option and don't make it standard like the STi.

I hope all three items remain optional so the price and/or weight can be kept down for those who don't want either one going any further up.

Stupid question here....

What's the difference between auto-A/C and a regular A/C?

I think auto a/c, you set the temperature, and it turns off and on to achieve that temp. Regular a/c, you turn it off and on yourself.

err regular A/C you have to sqivel the knob to the desired temp, instead of setting it digitally and letting something change fan speeds and heat/cool air? I haven't found one in a car that can get the car as comfortable as just setting the knobs, yet.. YMMV..
