Flywheel

What dictates whether you should change out your flywheel every time you need to replace your clutch?

Thanks

Driver preference, mainly. I'm still using the factory flywheel. It does need to be taken off and resurfaced with every clutch job though. One thing to remember about lighter flywheels is that just as they rev up quicker, the rpms drop just as quickly too.

How do you resurface the flywheel? Obviously its some special tool. Also having a lighter flywheel is that a bad thing?
