Loud Sound results in oil in bay

Recently had my timing changed, and all of my marks were on point.

Last night I ran the car for a short period of time, and everything was fine.

Just recently, I loaded an updated map on my ecu, turned the car on, and heard a loud pop. It sounded like a coupler blew off. Go to check my engine bay and there is oil all over the left side of my bay - starting from the right of the timing all the way to my turbo. a massive amount of oil came out, and I'm trying to seek what could be the culprit.

The dipstick was firm, and couldn't have been the culprit because the oil only appears to be in front of the valve cover, and is to the right of the timing belt. My oil filter is on tight and there is no oil around it.

Pics? Did you check the feed oil line to the turbo? (area you are describing)

PCV valve pop out of rear of VC.

Don't think you would hear a pop though if this was the case

It should be pretty simple. Just look for the area with the most oil. Chances are, you can find the culprit near by.

can't say. I'll continue to check. I didn't think that I would be able to warp a head by simply turning the car on. But then again, who knows anymore.

Oil feed lines are dry, oil really stops at o2 housing and goes no further. I'm beginning to get worried, because I think that the oil came from under my head, and when I checked my oil dip stick, the oil seems a thicker color than prior; i.e. possible coolant mixture.

Oil will turn a milky brown color when mixed with coolant

Good and bad news. Good news is that nothing is wrong with my motor/oil.

In fact I started the car fine, and with my head under the hood I noticed what the leak is.

The Bad: The leak is from my power steering pulley, where the fluid feeds into. I noticed that it was way loose and leaking bad over everything. I tightened it, but it was still leaking. I tightened it more and then the bolt sanapped.

I'll have to get that bolt out somehow, and once I do so, replacing it should fix my leak. Guess it's not too bad of a problem.
