is there a way to prevent or at least slow the process of anodized lug nuts fading? i had some red lug nuts before and after a year, they started to turn pink. i'm OK with the pink, but it faded very unevenly and some spots are starting to turn white.

 

i dont think theres a way, even the expensive rays lug nuts fade over time. titanium ($$$) or the neo chromes are some that dont fade or discolor over time i believe.
