Deploying for a year...

Deploying for a year...

I mistakenly posted one in regional but im trying to figure out what i should do if i put my car in the storage for 1 year. Like what the title says ill be deploying for a year..
Some guys said to fill it full tank put fuel stabilizer, with fresh oil.. Also another person said to put in jackstand..
Help me out..i dont wnt my car to be messed up when i come back after a year tour in afgan

There are plenty of website articles detailing this.

Change the fluids. Fuel sta-bil might be a good idea... IF someone can come by and move the car, that helps because then the tires won't get flat spots... if you have crappy wheels or crappy tires, I'd store it with them on.

Ive researched some and they do say that..i just wanna hear it from evo owners well i was thinking of putting it on jack cuz i dont extra tires

For my last two deployments I would simply put new fluids in it, fill the gas tank with stabil, and disconnect the battery. The car started without an issue everytime, never had issues with flat spots on tires either. I would however put it on jack stands if you have a place you can do that. I rented a storage unit and parked the car in there the whole time I was deployed.

Fantastic advice as I have done the same for my five (5) deployments.
