Hi there all... I have recently bought a evo 4 with a evo 7 motor and box im having boost problems with it and cant figure out what could be the cause?
this is my first time owning a turbo car so sorry if im abit of a noob haha.. It has a 38mm external wastegate on it at the moment which has a 7psi spring.. has a turbosmart boost tap on it the ones that have a low and high boost setting on it. the problem is that it will boost upto 10psi but then will go down to 4 psi through the revs.. any ideas on what it could be?
