Hey guys what's up? I am looking into buying a 2003 Evo i found on craigslist but it has pretty high miles and im not to sure if its worth it. I have found multiple evos with less miles (94k+) for around $13500. but i have yet to find a ww evo. I know this isnt ww but its the closest i could find. And do you think the turbo would be fine or would i have to rebuild it and what not. Thanks for all the help in advance.

 

Pass. The joy is in the hunt. Keep an eye on the classifieds here and/or expand your search. Don't be afraid to travel a bit to find the right one.

Definitely don't jump the gun just because it is close.

I made a 1100 mile trip to get a truck, 500 mile trip for a Jeep, 400 mile for another truck, and lastly me and my GF flew to Florida and drove her 350Z back 2,200 miles.

I do not regret any of those trips. I saved many, many thousands of dollars, and most importantly, got EXACTLY what I wanted.

 

I agree^^^^ i plan on traveling from Cali to NY to find the evo I want. Seeing as how im going to have this car i dont want to settle for nothing and nether should you. My advice, look at all the evos you can. Find what you like about them and what you would like in your own evo and then start then hunt. Now you may not find EXACTLY what ur looking for but u should get pretty close. GL dude!

Okay perfect well he is located in stockton so not that far from you! He's actually at the kings road event today im pretty sure yu know what im talkin bout lol. I know a bit bout the car seeing as i was gnna buy it.

basically he'll let it go for $500 but you would basically be taking over his car payments which from the last time we talked was about $10k left. I know the car is tuned and makes about 290 hp/280 ft. of TQ. I cant remember everything the car has off top but i do know he has 1000cc injectorz. the only thing the car needs is an allignment i believe. I lost his number but i was speakign with him last night so i'll get in touch with him asap for you.
