Seems like most people go for Bilstein MR shock/struts and Swift Spec R springs, or jump straight to $2k+ coilovers. If I were going coilovers, I'd stick to KW's and upwards, with the proper spring rate for the use I was planning. I've had JIC and Ohlins Flags. JIC were great on the street, and Ohlins were not great on the street but the handling was amazing. (Flags aren't a street coilover, I'd go with DFW's for a street car).

Go trudge around the threads on coilovers, hope you have a couple of days set aside for reading. Oh, and congrats on the car!!!
