Yakima Ski/Snowboard Rack options?

So looking at the options for ski/snowboard carriers, anybody have a recommendation or preference. I need to carry at least 2 boards and a pair of ski's. I just bought a complete Yakima roof rack and they come with BNIB Yakima Fresh Sesh carriers, but I'm contemplating buying the big powderhounds. Anyone using either?

they're a little over the top for my taste...the powderhounds might be a little cleaner and conservative.

An Evo with a roof rack is pretty over the top? I'd rather spend the money on something else... then again, I'm not you.

However... both work just fine. If you're interested mostly in the look on the car, people are going to have relatively little more to offer you than a GIS would?

Not flaming... just saying.

i'm making full use of the rack for this winter. but i'd love to hear how you would like me to spend my money. i just don't need the flashy camo racks to go with it. i just wanted to know if there any differences between the 2 rack options or worth it to spend more on the fatcat's.

no poser rack here

I forgot those come in that silly camo nonsense lol... I'd probably ditch them too.

The fatcats are nice... but the only real benefit is aerodynamics... imo... if you can get one that fits what you need to carry, and has a lock, then you're fine. The extra money typically brings features that offer relatively little bang for the buck.
