I posted a question asking for suggestions on wheel tire packages and what was cheap.. I searched for the post in all forums to see if it was moved or something but it's gone!

if it is than all you have to do is run a search for your name and you will find all the threads.

 

I did a search.. but it didn't show up.. only the 2 posts I've ever written.

Could it be the post was IN TRANSITION when you admins decided to move it?? Meaning it wasn't in General or any forums, until you finished moving it?

 

The thread was moved because it was initiated in the wrong forum.

There actually is no 'transition time' when a thread is moved. You likely just didn't enter the correct search string.

In the future, if you are just trying to find posts that you wrote or threads you initiated, the eaiest thing to do is just run a search for all posts by your username.

Yep it was moved by me. The reasons are already posted right above me.

 

That or simply click your own screen name on any thread and simply look through your post history, or as stated above, search for your post.
