Newbie question- need help

Ok so I truly do love this car. I have 700 miles on it and I did a few thorough searches about things. This place is great. I have one problem or I think it may be a problem.
I have this noise that is coming from the left side of the car and I believe it has to do with the clutch. It sounds like something is rubbing underneath the front of the car. The sound is there during driving and only goes away if I press the clutch pedal in all the way. When I let the clutch pedal out the noise is there even when I am stopped but when I press it in all the way it is gone. The dealer does not really know.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated as I did not find this in any other post.

Thanks,

John

Mine does this too, I have had it a couple weeks and kind of just decided it was normal. Maybe somebody will tell us if it is or not. By the way I have 1200 miles on mine.

mostlikely throwout bearing, dealer told me not to worry unless the noise gets worse.. what i heard was a metal to metal rubbing sound
