So I am from Michigan and when the time came for me to have my AS EVO 8 modified, I researched the big shops for months. I made the calls/sent emails. For the most part I was disappointed by the general attitude of those places, as if I was just a number.

After much frustration, I came across Joe Martin (owner of MIEVO.net) in Lansing, MI, on these forums. After a number of discussions he told me that my project could be worked on and completed right here in this state. +1 for a struggling state, so I trusted his recommendations. I am a couple of weeks from driving this 8 home.

Turns out the local transmission guy was TRE (teamrip.com), one of the sharpest minds to put their hands on a trans or t/case. Just give him an hour of your time and you will be amazed at how much better you understand your drivetrain.

The fabrication/special parts were completed at PPI (paradigmperformance.net) a local shop of Wayne (aka PPI). Wayne is excellent at his craft and his UICP and extreme machined/ported/coated Ex. Manifolds have been recommended on these forums before. He does a great job of porting and coating these parts for optimal performance. I trusted him with mine.
On top of that, I got a great deal for using his shop for most of my piping and parts. And he delivered on my rushed schedule.

I just picked them up yesterday. I am very thrilled with the results. See for yourself:

In addition, I got their ported 65mm throttle body, ported 10.5 hotside, and custom polished Upper intercooler piping.

i got my exhaust manifold ported by PPI and it was pretty nice. they do good work
