Noob question... AYC, Tires

Hi guys,

I was wondering how can i know if my car fits the AYC?
My car was one of the last 120 produced, is not us spec, 'cuz i live in Chile.

In the other hand i m using Ultraleggeras 18"x8.5, and mounting 225/40/18... I m thinking that I should put at least a 235/245, would be that an improve?

Thanx in advance!

I was looking for some info, and the local dealer, tell me that all the Evos 9 that arrives here were RS, with some optionals... A/C, radio, electrical Windows, 17"wheels, no Recaro (Now with MR Recaro), can be an RS2? Or just an RS and no AYC?

Regards,

AlterEvo... welcome.

So you have an Evo IX RS and you want to know if you can put the AYC into it?

The short answer is not really.

We didn't get AYC in the US either, so I wouldn't say we're experts on it. Perhaps try lancerregister? But I don't know of anyone who's done the swap, and I don't think it would be very beneficial in the end.

You'd be better off putting in a good LSD.

Thanx for the answer,

I wasn t sure if my car have the AYC, the AYC came with a switch like the ACD? Or just you cannot modified it?

I ve found that the RS versión doesn t have the AYC, just the ACD, but there's some versions named RS2, wich have some optionals and ACD/AYC...

Sorry for my ignorance...
