should i be concerned?
Thank you all for your advice, ive contacted the shop and told the manager i ordered a flatbed for pick up this week, he argued they were not finished, raised his voice at me, but i grew a pair of "huevo's" and told him id finish the work some place else 
i may possibly start a thread on the finish of the rebuild and first start up video if all goes well..

Nice, now you have cojones! Get some hair on them and make good decisions this time around--got to a reputable shop, get time estimates and pricess up front..set appropriate expectations etc..
