My choices are:
Boost.
EGT a good tuner can tune you on egt but most tuners want to tune you on a wideband.
Oil temp or oil pressure.

I bought boost, EGT and Wideband. Glowshift brand boost and EGT, and they more or less suck. Replacing the boost gauge with an AEM brand, since I love the AEM wideband so much.

Eh, they're overpriced.

You can get equally good gauges for 1/3 of the price if you do some research.

Agreed, and the boost gauge is hardly even accurate.

I would stick to a boost gauge and wideband. The AEM Uego is very popular and works pretty good.

Personally, I plan on running the Prosport EVO series gauges.

I would get the gauges in this order:

1. Boost gauge
2. Wideband A/F gauge
3. Oil pressure gauge
4. Exhaust gas temperature gauge
5. Fuel pressure gauge

Defi's are overrated. Nice as hell but over rated for sure. Running prosports right now and they are doing fine. I have the halo series.

That's interesting. A/F will let you know when your stoich mix is screwed, why would you also want a fuel pressure gauge?

Not trying to call you out, mostly curious.

mechanical or electric boost gauges? Which is better...my cheap glowshift electric one sucks, so I ordered an AEM electric "analog" one...hope it doesn't suck.

Mechanical gauges are more responsive, but personally I don't want hot oil running into my cabin.
