6262bb or 3586

My goal is 650 whp on c16 (no e85 here)

Mods

Ets equal length t3 manifold
Ets 4" fmic
Gsc s2 gen 2
Ported evo 8 manifold (to come)
Ported oem tb (to come)
Arp l9
Ferrera valves single
Ferrera valves spring
Direct exhaust (coming out the side)
Spark tech
Oem evo 8 ecu
Manley h beam rods
Arias 85.5mm pistons
1200cc pte injectors
Aeromotive fr
Aeromotive fpr
Aeromotive 800 lph fuel pump

Changes hoping to make are to a foward facing manifold and hta86. Just got a 6262 haven't put it on the car. Had a 6235r but never used it either tuned the car and it stopped running.

My goal is only 650 whp my car is fairly light. Have a 5 galon fuel cell ordered and 16 inch volk wheels that weigh around 9 lbs each. Crash bars front, rear and doors taken out also no ac.

My engine has 25,000 kilometers on it that's my fear. Opened her up and looked very fresh. Its a 2.0 so do you guys recomend keeping what I have ?

The hta86 a friend is giving me his chra wheel and hotside at a good price lol almost free to rebuild. That's the main reason why I want an hta.

I would go with the 6262 or a 6265. I made 620awhp on pump gas and meth on my 6262. A 6765 will defiantly put you way over 650, 700+

My car doesn't have dual valve springs.

Also I have cheapo manley rods.

So at 650 whp I'm pushing it.

consider the new 6266 turbo. that VS a 3586 is what you should be asking.

The HTA is a better turbo, but realistically its not like they are worlds apart. They make very similar number....

Be interested to see how the 6266 stacks up against the HTA86.

Thought about a DBB FP Black?

My car already has a t3 manifold, external wg, and ect.

DBB would be nice though to make 650 whp however I'd prob have to push it real hard.

Sounds like you already know the answer to what you are asking. SO the only question actually seems to be on you, how much do you want to spend....apparently not enough to have the better of the two choices.

You're very brave running either of those turbos on Manley H=beams.

FP3586HTA would be my choice (better spool, transient response and similar top end) but uprate those rods!!

Wanna get some carillo rods or turbo tuff eventually.

H beams how much power do they hold?
(my tuner told me he can play with the timing to keep the torque down dont want more than 450)
Already have all the supporting mods just need to work on the block.
