thanks guys ill post pics of the head light tonight. Yeah its looks so damn sweet i wish i could get them both to be that color. It would look nice then.

It's gotta be something related to improper power delivery through the ballast. It's red because it's barely on, it is dim correct?

I don't think the ballast is the issue, it is the bulb. Sounds like the gas leaked out and "air" got in. Dealer will fix for free...

Yep, when HID bulbs go bad they turn red; don't just go out like incandecent. That's what they all do. You prolly had a defective one..

same thing happened to me yesterday, unfortunately i'm out of my warranty time, dealership told me it's a bad bulb. $130 from them or $85 from Napa Auto Parts, i'm picking it up today. i took some pics, i'll post them later.

HIDplanet sells them for $80/pair for 4300k or $99/pair for 5000k... both OEM Phillips D2S bulbs.

yea, i was thinking if it was both i'd leave it, but i guess after a period of time they just start shutting off anyway.

Nice, I like the picture. That is strange though...this is the first time I've even HEARD of an HID turning red. I wonder what exactly causes it to turn that color.
