For all those who plan on running 12.0 and faster

You need a cage.

They are starting a cage on my evo in a couple of weeks and I will post pics when done. My cage will have custom swingouts perfect for the daily driver.

i would love to see how it fits and how good it retains the stock usability, how much is your costing total with labor and the swingouts? nice though!

What times did your car run? and do you have a friend with a black supercharged mercedes benz?

without swingouts the cage goes for $1000.all chromoloy
with swingouts $1700 all chromoloy

check out the website their should be pics of an R33 that was done with swingouts, Vinny Ten's supra , and many other cars.

My car doesnt have any official times yet , but first chance i get after the new Unorthodox clutch setup is put in , its going to the track and dyno, soon our own dyno!!
Yes i do know someone with a procharger supercharged benz.

Is this Zac? If it is its Me Nick with the White evo, Rickys brother.

I raced the supercharged benz @ the drag strip a couple weeks ago and beat him. I was suprised because my clutch was slipping very bad.

Yes we can tune anything. We are in the process of acquiring a four wheel dyno now and should have it shortly. Nick gimme a call sometime my new # is in the comments, I left Paisley and came to Unorthodox in Deer Park. Anyone is more than welcome to come down and take a look.

So on the swingouts do you pull the pins like it appears in the Supra and remove a section or is it hinged some way? I presume with the Supra type system one could just remove the sections at the doors for everyday driving and put them in just for track time?

Yes you are exactly right. You pull the pins to remove the bar and put them in for the track.
