thats pretty neat.. but e70 will max your car out timing wise.. but the more ethanol the better cooling properties so you should see power gains on e100. thats the first i seen e100 at a real gas station pump. very cool for sure.

It's gonna lean you out a touch and e100 has no lube properties....

You have to run cylinder lube with e98/e100

I'm sure there are traces of water/other impurities in it. It's really hard to distill absolutely pure ethanol. I think it just doesn't have any gasoline intentionally mixed in.

There will be a small trace of petroleum in the "E100" to prevent human consumption. It would be illegal to provide 100% purity of the product readily available.

Truf^

My brother in law is a chemical engineer at an ethanol plant here in Illinois. E100 doesn't leave the plant, period. That's E98. Still a gangster gas pump. Couldn't imagine how fast my car would be if that was near me. Dang

legally you can not get e100(100%alcohol) as it would get taxed out the hole and would fall under liquor.
E98 at most is what u can get legally. Ofcourse you can make your own e100..

There is a gas facility by my house that has 100% ethanol and it can't leave there in that form. This place also blends the fuel for gas stations. E98 would be more realalistic , but e100 race file looks cool as shi+! good stuff!
