im looking to get an evo. there are evo 7s in my country goin for like TT180 000 that is about US30 000 or less. the problem is that they are used or foreign used(used in japan and shipped to our country for ah lesser price) but basicaly a good and not an abused car. how ever there is the evo 8. the problem is that we dont get them foreign used or used bacuse they are new and they are goin for like TT 325 000 (us55 000) for the dealers.
another issure is that i have never seen an evo 8 becace the dealers havent brouth any yet . so i dont know what to do. is it worh spendin bout 25 000 extra to get the evo 8 ? is the Super AYC better than the AYC on the 7?
which do u tink looks better the 7 or 8? which performs better stock? comments will be appreciated

 

From what ive read, the SAYC on the VIII is better than the VII. If you search around here, there some info on the comparison between the two.

But if i had to get an evo, i would get the VII. I like the looks of the VII better. Better yet, I would get me an Evo V, my favorite.

 

get a evo 7 and use the 25 grand US that you say towards otherstuff. For 5 grand you can make that car a beast, for 10 a beast and all the best exterior and interior mods...

get the 7 sure its used, but lets say you need to repair it, i dont think it will cost you all of your 25 grand, worst case it might cost you something like 5 in the long run

 

the 7 has very conservative looks compared to the 8... i think the 8 will age well, whereas the 7 looks like styling from the late 90's honda era...

anyway, it's really hard to tell whether a car is abused or not unless you get down and dirty with it... but that's a HUGE price difference... i really don't know what to say man... good luck deciding

I like the EVO 7 look a lot better than the 8. Besides, 25G of mod money is a good enough reason to get the 7 over the new 8.

Most likely, the used 7 came from a auto auction in Japan. Ask the guy selling the car for the auction spec sheet and this is a good indicator if the car was trashed or not

 

I like the looks of the EVO VIII better, but if I was in your part of the world I would get a EVO V or VI.

Well overseas I would say go for the evo 8. Just my opinion though.

 

Get the 7 ..
It looks better IMO than the 8 ..
And it's cheaper.. and as said above you can use the extra money in mods and exterior, interior modification..
