quick question

So ive looked around to see where is the best place to ge your AFR sensor installed on a down pipe and the only place i found was at the 12 a clock position at the end of the DP is that a good spot?

ya thats where i put mine, it clears everything fine.

At any angle above the 3 o' clock position is best, and yes at the end of the dp is good.
