Stock 2010 gt-r vs e85 Evo 8?
If the Evo driver can drive, the GT-R will be pulled on early, and then freight train past the Evo when the gearing hits. The GT-R is HEAVY, but a monkey could drive one and with even a tune they net pretty big gains. They also have huge tires, superior launch control and better high speed aero.
did you put down 400whp on a mustang dyno?
I just raced a stock 2010 gtr this weekend on the highway and pulled it. I put down 393 and 413tq (stock turbo) on a mustang dyno. Dont get me wrong, they are fast and gorgeous!!

Did you pull on it early and for how long... the top end gearing on the GT-R murders ours, so does its aero, transmission, shifting etc. I've pulled on a modded road racing GT-R (bovs, exhaust, intake, tune, cage, huge slicks etc) on a road course on the front straight, but he murdered me in the corners. I was on street tires too, but still... they are ******* fast.

Pm sent

GTRs are called GODZILLA for a reason lol
lol glad to hear you pulled it man!!!! I just got the tune finished a few days ago and just have some very small things to put on (intake tube, muffler) and i should be good to go. The car didnt make 400 like we though though
should be about 375 with the tube and muffler which hurts my chances alot!

I thought I could take a stock gtr with just a simple reflash, at the time I was pushing 445hp with the fp black, let's just say everytime I shifted, the gtr would pull about a half car length each time, that paddle shifting is no joke
at a "closed off stretched of road" i did a few runs with a gtr. tune/exaust/intake, my fp black x got beat by a length. granted this wasnt for money and roll racing, but i was shocked. and i can tell you , these pulls were ran way past 100 and were closer to 150 mph pulls. he didn really pull on me till i was in 5th which i forgot the exact mph, but i was shifting at 9k in 4th on the runs.
in orther words, dont underestimate these evos. my intake/hks272/exhaust car that put down 290 on a mustang ran a 12.2. with 400 i would hope you would be deep into the 11's

You guys are using E.T. in the quarter mile to gauge roll racing acceleration and thats just wrong. Use MPH instead. If an evo traps around the same as a new GTR, then the highway racing should be semi equal with everything else out of the equation.
We don't have the gearing or aero to hang with cars at those speeds. Even though I'm not at all into roll racing, typically Evo's won't run that high from what I understand. Our short gearing and AWD traction gives us a nasty jump on a lot of cars with more power, but once you break 130+ mph its a losing battle.
