EVO IX vs. Fake Wheels = One FREAKED up CAR
Actually, it makes quite a bit of sense. Replacing perfectly fine, relatively strong stock wheels with a POS solely for the sake of a look is rice. If the owner didn't rice out the car, this would not have happened. Seems pretty easy to comprehend from here.
If you need a dedicated set of winter wheels I wouldn't think this would happen when buying somewhat of a well known brand. Too say this is rice is wrong, just trying to save some money.
I wouldn't go as far to say "Rice" - they were bought as a set of winter rims to be used when they would be damaged and attacked by snow and salt and all other forms of grossness. I, personally, am not going to spend over $500 for a set of rims just to use them to get eaten up and destroyed by the winter elements. I put a set of PT Cruiser rims on my WRX for winter - 16" chrome P.O.S rims for $165 and they worked amazing. Rice? No. Gross? Oh F**K yea.
You're lucky this happened at a low speed and no one was hurt!! Sorry you had to learn your lesson the hard way, don't cheap out on a VERY important piece of the car next time.

But oh no! Your car might look stock! What a travesty!

So many tards on this forum.
I would never roll with cheap crap on this car, way to much at stake and I am hoping that by next winter I won't even have to drive it, haha.
