i am needing to change my throwout bearing and clutch disc, i am wandering if i should go with a sprung street disc or solid street disc? my car is my daily driver and i want to take it to the track next summer and i like racing. but i want a clutch that doesn't make alot of whinning noises or any noise which one should i go with. i would greatly appreciate your input
+1 for sprung, theres a fairly big change in drivability when going to the non sprung version.
If you DD the car theres really no reason to go solid. If you want quiet stay single dics, twins are noisy and overkill for a basic bolt-on car.

Competition Clutch's new HD 3000lb pressure plate and sprung street disc, perhaps?

thank you guys for your input i might try out the competition clutch, just to be different. is the competition clutch a really good clutch to have for a good daily driver and is there any fitment issues and how is the shifting?
2100 sprung street disc - 450tq (best driveability and only $495!)
2600 sprung kevlar disc - 525tq (<--- with their old PP, this disc was only rated at 350tq)
sprung 6 puck - 575tq
sprung 4 puck - 600tq
*unsprung discs have the same rating as their sprung counterparts*
have had an ACT from day one with mine no issues. Not much clutch rattle at all rated to 507 torque which is likely more than you will make on your stock motor. I love them they have a little pedal stiffness but nothing major at all. hdss kit.
