Rocker arm failures
I djust change all of my lifters to day , I took it nice and easy , and it workt well.
I had a quit big tick from all lifters in the begining and i got scared , waht the hell.. but after a phone call to my favorit evo expert , drove off and let the enginge and oil get warm . the after that the engine got quiet , no more tick,
now i have 3mm hole lifter on my evo 6.
If you are runing HKS 272 cams , I strongly recomend to go whit dual vavesprings ,
ore ealse you may have valvesallad one day, reving the enginge to hard, when your valve springs get a little bit worn ,

I just swapped out HKS 272s for GSC S2 cams with stock springs and retainers and I was reving to 7500 rpms. The HKS cams are a real mild cam for the evo 8. I mean they make a tiny bit more power then stock evo 9 cams which to me is sad.
hehe , If the cams have the same lift you are pretty safe as you say , there are 272 HKS cams whit big lift , and reving 8500 , you may have some problems .
