Driver side Outside mirror looks convex?
Here's a theory...at least for mine...
I spray the car, one side freezes...then either via electronic adjustment or moving it when I scraped the ice off I move the other side. With one side stuck the movement causes the mirror to bend and appear convex.
This would explain it being convex and then going away when it warmed up. I'll see tonight but even with extreme cold if part of it is not frozen and/or I don't move/adjust it I should not see it again.
Anyone else that noticed this problem have any sort of similar scenario?

I noticed the same thing a couple of weeks ago, and almost posted about it. I don't think it's really cold related but I don't know for sure. I guess we'll all find out in the spring.
BTW, I don't know how you could not see it when looking at the mirror -- it's quite obvious.

Just a thought.....Are the mirror surfaces made of glass? If they are, it will be virtually impossible for it to warp due to cold or hot temps. Glass breaks....it doesn't warp.

I agree. I'll have to take a closer look when it warms up...unless one of our warm climate owners can check it out now and see if it is glass.
Sorry but it's 3-degrees out right now
