Sold my 6 bolt swapped 97 GSX (that was paid off) & bought my evo when I was 20 yrs old while I was working for Mitsubishi & a full time college student...6 yrs later still own it!

23 sold my Eclipse GST figured an Evo was the next best affordable and reliable option, couldn't be more happier.

 

19 right after my first deployment. had to go to war for it.

 

I was 18 when I bought my first one.

 

got my 03 RR in 2008 out of an auction for 13,500 when I was 18 yrs old working full time at lowes home improvement.

 

First EVO: 19

Second EVO: 25

 

got mine at 19. used of course.

 

first evo at 20 (used 03) turned into a race car so a few months later 21 I bought another used 03 for a daily

 

Just after my 28th birthday. Graduated college at 26 and can finally afford one. Used 2008 X for 26.5k

 

52 years here. Took a long time with taking care of family, kids to put enough together to buy a new EVO X off the showroom floor.

 

18 for my first then traded it in a year later for a new one at 19

 

I think you should add to your original post if you bought it NEW or USED.... its very important as the cost is drastically different, its hard to believe anyone younger than 25 can actually (or should actually) afford a car ~$40k all said and done.


I was 25, bought it used w/ 11K miles.
