Sold my 6 bolt swapped 97 GSX (that was paid off) & bought my evo when I was 20 yrs old while I was working for Mitsubishi & a full time college student...6 yrs later still own it!

52 years here. Took a long time with taking care of family, kids to put enough together to buy a new EVO X off the showroom floor.

I think you should add to your original post if you bought it NEW or USED.... its very important as the cost is drastically different, its hard to believe anyone younger than 25 can actually (or should actually) afford a car ~$40k all said and done.


I was 25, bought it used w/ 11K miles.
