26 . . . Evo IX RS. I knew the X was coming out, and I didn't like it because I was a big rally fan. Not too many cars that come with manual windows and no sound deadening. I bought it new and like it stock.

i've been a DSM guy since my first one in 2002, i've worked my way up the ladder and finally got a nice 06 WW RS. I feel that i have a definate mechanical advantage over the average evo owner. DSMs can turn you into a mechanic pretty quick lol. My GSX was in the 650-700awhp range so I know which route I want to take to get the evo there without much trouble.

I agree, as frustrating as owning a DSM can be at times, I loved every moment of the car, had fun and learned a lot. I've seen normal Evo owners, then Evo owners with DSM backgrounds and the attitudes and knowledge are generally different.

If I don't end up getting an Evo for whatever reason I am buying another DSM

23, was my realistic dream car since I got into cars when I was 15. I had a 1G Talon before this and finally got fed up with the issues and parted it out and used it for a down payment for my Evo8. Couldnt be happier. Have had it a year now.

19, as an exit womb day anniversary gift to myself Kept it minimally modded for roughly 4 years and finally caved in last summer to a full build. Ironically, my 1G Talon crankwalked on the way to get it. But I love my Evo and I will never get rid of it.

24, bought my Evo V last november. Wasn't even looking at evo's, but this thing just fell into my lap and im so glad I got it, love the car. Always been a Nissan fan (as my bro who got me into cars owned a 32 gts-t and a 32gtr) but after having the evo I can see why so many people love them.

21, living in Canada I didn't think I would ever own one. But when the bumper law changed I started saving up and found one in Arizona .
