FIC injector question
FIC injector question
Okay so i've done ALOT of searching, even calling companies and asking and i'm just getting the run-around. i have a 2002 Eclipse gs, with a Evo 8 head swap, custom 9:1 compression ratio Wiseco Pistons, K1 rods, K1 Crankshaft, BC 272/272 Stage 2 camshafts, BC Standard size Valves/Valve Springs/Retainers, Aem tru time cam gears, Factory Evo 8 intake manifold, ETS T3 manifold, Garrett gt3582r turbo, Treadstone TR10 intercooler....
(btw, this is a IN progress build, is not complete)
so my question is WHAT Fuel Injection Clinic injector will support 600hp??
this is going to be my DAILY driver. no one i've talked to, NOR the forums i've read say anything in regards to X size injector will support for X amount of hp.
so here's the list of FIC injector sizes:
FIC 650cc
FIC 750cc
FIC 850cc
FIC 950cc
FIC 1050cc
FIC 1150cc
FIC 1250cc
FIC 1350cc
FIC 1450cc
FIC 1550cc
FIC 1650cc
and finally
FIC 1680cc
i know the list goes on but i seriously doubt i need a injector over 1680cc, so there for i am not going to waste time to list it.
now with that list of injectors, what "cc" will Support a 600whp, Daily driving car without idle issues and other problems. Note: this car IS going to be tuned on a Mustang Dyno from my turbo shop, if that matters.
Thanks for the help
-Brandon
Edit: Going to be using regular 91 octane NOT e85 or VP120 and so on

they all say single walbro or dual, so walbro 190lpm? 255lpm? or 400lpm?
i have a single 255 but i'm wondering if i'll need 2 for the 600hp
thanks for the link btw!!

Dual = Dual 255 (aka double pumper)
A single walbro can be safely used to just over 500 WHP, after that a double pumper or bigger fuel pump is needed.

This is true. You will never need to touch your fuel system again.
Yes, it's a lot to invest, however, if you plan on continuing to mod your Evo, I don't see why you wouldn't just put this setup in and be done with it.
This is the exact setup I have and it works great

well the only thing i've been wondering about is if i go with the 2150's and double walbro 255, won't the 2150's just spray fuel in my cylinders like a out of control firehydrant?? or when i get it tuned will it squirt only what it needs??
also not to sound like an *** or anything.... but why does everyone talk about e85 fuel like it's gold?? i don't understand what the hype is all about, doesn't it burn slower?!?!

okay this matches what i pretty much just stated, so the pro's and cons i've seen: it's cheaper, only by like 40-50cents, BUT you get less mpg so basically you're back in the same loop as regular pump gas. so again... why is everyone wanting to use this?
