Hi I had taken off my intercooler pipe from the turbo to the intercooler and there was some oil in it does anyone know why? Or what it is from

 

Put in a catch can..the oil from the valve cover hose into the intake is going into the intercooler.

It this a bad thing or common?

 

Mine did that too, put a catch can on and now I get very little oil spray.

Go look at radium engineering. They make some sick catch cans among other things.

 

It is sucking oil from the valve cover. I have always gotten rid of the valve cover to intake hose. Put a breather on the valve cover, simple, done!

 

its verry comon on evos that there is oil in the intercooler . not a big mather!
does not do any harm , to your car .

but when you are running 1000hp you shuld have a catch can , just make sure then that you have vacum to it to , so it sucks that oil into the can insted of in the intercooler
