Didn't meant to come across as condescending. But, I've been there. Keep at it. Is borrowing money from the rents a possibility? Convince them that it's an investment from all of the street racing winnings you'll earn when it's fixed

That's a good argument but I only live with my mom and after she bought tires for it (which I have to pay her back for) she said she isn't helping anymore so that's pretty much out of the question lol I'd rather be independent anyway it's just so hard when there are no jobs around here.

Yeah definitely not a good spot to be in, I don't really have the urge to ever get another loan again lol. It will work out in the end...

This whole situation sucks man. I saw your FS post and noticed some of the prob's you listed. Whatever happened to the guy you bought it from? Have you tried contacting him?

I told him as soon as I noticed all of the issues the car had that he neglected to mention. He tried saying he had no idea the blinkers, horn, brake, reverse, headlights, oil leaks, drivers side window didn't work. I contacted the PA attorney general and they said they couldn't do anything some justice system we have in this country... He's still on here selling **** to people probably ripping them off still. He has another evo too

I thought I would chime in on here..
Car was sold to you knowing it was a r-title and having power steering line leaking. I included a new line. I also had a journal for the car, that I kept track of all issues I had with car. You were well aware of my journal and all the problems I had with The car.
You picked the car up and drove almost two hours home in the dark.
Wouldn't you have noticed if headlights, horn, blinkers and reverse lights etc didnt work?then a week later you contact me saying you have all these issues?
Car was in good driving condition when picked up. You can't point fingers every time you have a problem.

R-title doesn't mean you sell the car with open wires hanging all over the engine bay with some **** work done by someone who clearly had no clue how to work on a car. Also stop lying I contacted you the next day and you said you "didn't know" about any of it. I wasn't aware of any of the issues you lying piece of **** you said power steering and sunroof doesn't always work. Car was ****ed when I got it but that's fine you'll get yours. Now **** off my thread.

As of now waiting on a payment from a buyer. If that one falls through I have another buyer.

Is that a threat? Like I said car drove fine when you got it. I bought another evo and the motor blew not long after I got it and tranny was grinding. Did I call the previous owner blaming him and complain about it on the forum? No buying a used modded evo is taking a risk and sometimes problems will arise. You need deal with them and quit blaming other people for every little thing that happens to it. I will not leave this thread, seeing that you are bad mouthing me in it. Like really dude? It's been in your ownership for almost a year now. You need to quit blaming me. Car had three other owners besides me. Want to make threads about them too?

I'm sure the other owners did that too, yeah the car wouldn't of made it a week. This thread is not about you it's about my car. please gtfo now this thread doesn't concern you.

1) I'm not sure who the OP contacted about the sale, but there's no way we could have done anything about it.

2) Solely based on the previous owner's FS thread, I'd say you were crazy to have bought it in the first place.

3) Buying a rebuilt car should involve a trip to a knowledgeable mechanic/shop if you don't know about what you're buying, especially for a modified rebuild titled car. A couple hundred dollars and some time would have saved you the $3-5k you're going to lose if you sell at your current asking price.

4) In the general suggestions realm, have you checked your alternator and charging system? Dead battery, lots of electrical issues, misfiring...

Also, no name calling. You know, rules...

Back on topic right now I'm waiting to see if these buyers come through or are just tire kicking. If that falls through then I'll be keeping the car and finding the source of the problem(s). The alternator could be an issue that's what I was told before but I didn't have it replaced due to time needed to send the core back. I'll post an update as soon as I have one.

I was about to post what WSB did. Dead battery, runs bad, shoddy electrical work... Sounds like an electrical issue. I'm thinking it's a parasitic draw that's causing the battery to run down, and once you get the car started and the alternator gets some juice in the battery everything is good. You'll get misfires if you're running the car with a low battery.

Sell some plasma, get the $75 for a battery, and fix your Evo.
