Just trace a pattern of a mudflap you want and go to a hardware shop to get the hardware you need.

There thin flexible plastic and work quite well.
I hear placemats make excellent dash protectors and inverted dogfood bowls can be used to cover cone filters from debris. C'mon. What's this, a DSM forum?

I didn't mean to sound harsh and I hope you didn't see my comment as totally negative. Evolutions are world class machines, at least the ones that haven't been screwed up by their owners. $60 in the grander scheme of things is a dinner for two with a beer and a tip. Is that really such a savings that would warrant not installing perfectly cut, perfectly fitting external parts in lieu of modifying kitchen cutting boards? Now, if we're talking about a 20 year old POS with 200,000 miles that sold for $3000 to its 16th owner dreaming of 1000HP from a Peb Boys shopping spree, a cutting board seems reasonable.

Yes, it's different environment here.

i like creative ideas like his. leaves more dough left over for the real mods, and you can make the flaps look like whatever you'd like. just because they're world class machines doesnt mean a bendable piece of plastic wont work just as well as mudflaps that are created from almost the same material, but with a vendor sticker slapped on it.

+1 for his creativity and a good scheme of saving some cash.

You do not own an Evolution, you're on an Evolution board talking to Evolution owners about Evolutions, and challenging them to boot. No thanks.

I don't need a car to attract women.

BTW, which mudflaps are on your Lancer?

you clearly do lol with the 400 threads youve started in the past month.

and everyone here seems to be real nice to all the lancer and ralliart guys, because they realize just because we dont rake in the cash we still want to have fun with our cars.

only you have some kind of inferiority complex where you have to insult me for not buying a 45k car that would be 5x the price of my car to insure and fill up. sorry im 18 and can make an intelligent decision.

I count the grand total of 5, all meant to expose, entertain or enlighten. Clearly, the overall absurdity of this discussion is outlined though this claim.

You do not own an Evo, you do not have mudflaps, and I feel fairly save speaking for the forum when I say that a Lancer vs Evo debate, relative to ricing either, isn't a topic of great interest. I purposefully omitted the rest of your text. Enough of the OT.

Edit: Wait, you're a teenager? I can't believe I even talked to you. Best of luck.

i do have mudflaps... and im not starting a lancer vs evo debate lol. just pointing out why its ridiculous for an ignorant 48 year old to assume and then attempt to insult an 18 year old lol. you need to get off the high horse, and give AARP a call.

and agreed, enough OT

Excuse me.

You came into this claiming that you have a world class machine like ours. Obviously, you do not. When that was said to you, you started protesting and arguing poverty as an explanation for not owning a world class machine. No one said you had to have one other than you.

Oddly, you somehow feel insulted by that, even through it's the truth, the reality of the situation, it's the car you chose to buy, and go off on tangents peppered with juvenile flames. It's not the silliness of this that's troublesome; it's the brutal dishonesty. Now you're trying to cast aspersions on my character, without, at the very least, taking an iota of responsibility for your own words and actions.

I wouldn't blame the mods if they wanted to delete all this (my posts included) and allow the thread to remain on topic.
