I like the way the front is intigrated into the hood and am glad to see a FMIC, the lights are pretty sweet too. Really all i thnk it needs is a new grill and to move the licence plate... and perhaps some real fog lights like on the evo V.

P.S. What does the back look like???

Alright, I have to stick my neck out here and disagree with just about ALL of you.

That front end is so fu***** hideous that it PROVES the Chrysler association with MMC!!!

Oh PLEEEEEAASE don't let that be the Evo VIII or there are going to be aftermarket front ends up the wazoo. I'm buying stock in whatever company makes the front end fix if that is what the Evo is going to look like 'cause I'm really sorry I even saw this thread at all.

I think the new galant front end is ugly as sin too. and the new lancer(yes the one we all own and love) has one of the ugliest grills i've seen on a car that i love in a long time. damn i think mitsubishi needs to get rid of the bar in their R&D offices. that car needs to be lowered a little too.

 

il be the um optomistic guy here......im down witht eh new lancer dont care to much for the frunt end but im cool with it its not like im buying the car for looks its about performance if i was buying it on looks hell id buy some luxirus mercedes or bmw, and the liscence plate thing yeah guess what i dont care what you guys think about that either because the dealership is no how no way i dont care if they fine my ***, there is no way im letting them take a drill to my bumper so im guessin no front liscence for me

Where the F are the foglights? Projector lights are cool, but make it much less rally looking. I think they thought America wanted more of a str8 line car rather than the sick rally beast it is. Probably not a functional wing, hmm. marker lights are o.k. but probably a step backwards in the "evolution" that makes two in a row.
