Oh yeah. Neglected to mention that even in that case, they were running 285-30-18s all around.

Yeah, that was a comment I was going to post but forgot. We can already fit pretty wide tires under our stock fenders (rolled), it probably really isn't necessary for 99% of people to put anything larger than 245's on all four corners. That goes right out the window when you start tracking your car and are making significant horsepower.

Not to go off topic, but just wanted to say Butt Dyno, that I read your STU thread and found it really interesting. I just started to do some auto-x and have done some road racing with NASA the past couple of years.

Anyway, back on to "wider wheels out back because it's wicked cool."

Plus it's easier to rotate your tires so you have equal wear not like the GTR you will paying out your A$$ for tire's when they wear down a little , take it from a guy that had both

SAME SIZE RIMS DIFF RIM WIDTH
It's more about weight distribution than anything else when your car is 60%front and 40% rear like and EVO as some are suggesting you should really run wider up front. Wider in the rear in any car that has more weight in the front that rear = Poser, plain and simple, all thay are doing in generating more understeer. The EVO community has very few if any posers thankfully... we like to go fast (to quote Ricky Bobby)

NO more GTR Shark.....Whats next. A UGR Gallardo?

CCW makes a fitment that looks staggered but really the backspacing is different from the fornt to the rear. Can't rotate but it will keep the rear diff and xfercase happy.
