I notice there is always posting of people getting alot different gas mileage on the forums. That seems weird to me..
Any ideas?

I know its cuz some people are pushing more than others but even in high and low hp vehicles people are still getting varied mpg. Confused.

I would think u should get more than that stock.... U must have a heavy foot, u can have it tuned a bit leaner and still be safe and get a bit better mileage. Maybe U can ask someone reputable if they will send u a stock tune rom if they are nice.

has anyone else noticed this?? i dont have the stock turbo anymore but when i did this was a fair statement for me as well

I get 22-23 mpg on highway, but most of my driving is city stop and go which gives me 15-17 mpg. The city driving has 25 to 30 stop signs or lights plus rush hour traffic in 6 miles.

Two things people always lie about how many MPG the get and how much they make.

I saw an earlier post saying a guy gets 340 to a tank that is damned good if so but I kind of doubt that. I guess it could be possible if it's a car that is back East as you have better gas than we do on the West coast.

FWIW I get about 300 to a tank give or take and that is shifting at 3k and not real spirited driving. Getting on it I figure it would do 20mpg.

Ah, might be something wrong with my car then. I got a tune from GST back in May 2007. Even going light with the pedal I will only get 250-260. Driving to tahoe and back I would get 280ish, never seen 300 ever.
