Squealling sound??
Hi all,
Compliments of the season to you all!
To the gritty:
When ever I (from a stop) drive off while turning I hear a feint squealling sort of sound. My brother thought it sounded like air escaping from somewhere in a squeally sort of fashon.
It sounds like its coming from the front somewhere, but I can't be certain on that.
I'm assuming its the shocks are naffed but I would love a second opinion from you guys before I go about replacing anything.
I also get a metalically sounding click while I turn which I assume is rooted sway bar bushings (or something of the sort)
P.S. I would search this myself but I don't know what to search for!
Cheers all!

the metallic click is your needing new drive shafts (or at least rebuilding yours); it's the sound of the boots on your current ones being torn and there being a lot of dirt in there and not a lot of grease
Is this a problem that can be fixed? Or will it need to be replaced?
If it's fixable, how difficult is it? Could someone some-what mechanically retarded like myself be able to do it?

I used to get the squealing sound whenever I held my foot down on the clutch, and disengage while turning. I've been told its a typically aftermarket flywheel noise. Its kinda embarrassing if people are near. I tried to avoid having my foot holding the clutch petal in. Helped minimize the length of the squeal.
When I purchased a new clutch and flywheel it went away. I had a 6 puck sprung stage 2 Competition clutch and an ACT streetlite flywheel.
New setup: ACT HDSS & Fidanza flywheel
and yeah I hear ya on the searching. There are answers to everything, you just have to ask the right questions.
