good notice !!!, so who can call rexpeed about this item??? i ask them for the dash trim and they reply me that they discontinued the product, so i think they have the molds and if we make a group buy they can make it for us

Are you trying to get these made for left hand drive, or right hand drive like in the pictures?

 

3m Di-noc carbon fiber vinyl looks and feels awesome. My fiance has it on that piece in her evo. We were looking at buying some and doing it ourselves,(it is expensive) and I happened upon a completed piece on ebay, I then sold the old dash pieces and in the end it cost $35 with the difference and about 10 minutes of my time. Check ebay, there are several companies that part out evos frequently and when I got the cf piece they had 6 other dash pieces for sale, 1 other cf one.

I do not personally like the glossy look of the ones on the 9s.

 

i agree there are some ways to make tings with carbon fiber and feel like real carbon fiber

nice video and nice solution. But i want a dry carbon fiber dash trim =). I want to know if we can make a list and ask rexpeed to make this item.

 

Have you thought about how much it's going to cost to get a one-off dry carbon piece for that?

much better off going with a dry carbon wrap and save the extra money to put towards some other performance parts

unless money grows on trees for you, then go for it

 

dammit, I sold that rexpeed piece for cheap a while ago, thinking I could get it in the future.

I agree to go with the CF wrap on that piece.

I too would like to see if Rexpeed would do a one-off run of the HVAC trim in CF. Let us know if you find out they can do it.

 

I just sent rexpeed an email asking if they would do a one time run for a group buy. If you are interested in getting them to bring back the CF HVAC trim you might want to send them an email info@rexpeed.net.

Maybe we can get enough interest that they will do a run for us.
