Quartermaster Clutch Issues - Any input?

This clutch has been driven about 2500 miles. I rarely drive my MR.

While I was passing a car on the highway I pushed it into 5th gear and moved past the car on the right at about 70mph. When I was about midway past the car my rpms shot up and I could tell that the clutch slipped.

I parked the car for a few months and then took out the clutch when things settled down and I had the time.

Here is the what happened:

This is the set up

The rivets popped out of the disc and the disc lodged itself at an angle not allowing me to engage the clutch.

Lovely!

I sent the set-up back to Quartermaster after they asked for pics. The response was "ho-hum", I'm hoping for the best though...It's a $2000 set up and I don't want it to go to waste.

Does anyone have any experience with them that would be constructive here?
