GT35r

Hey my friend is selling a DTM GT35r ball bearing (Garrett New Turbo). He's letting me have it for a very good price. My only problem is that I don't know too much about the quality of dtm's hot parts.
This will be going on a pump gas car. I've read mixed reviews about the 35r on 93 oct. Will I be able to reach my goals of 500hp+ on 93. What kind of power are you 35r guys seeing at 30psi on 93? Could you guys help me with this? Thank you

My mods are:
2.3 Stroker (Manley/Manley/Manley)
GSC s2, Springs and Retainers
fic 1450
ETS 3.5 IC and short route piping
ETS Intake
Walbro Pump
Shep Transmission
BC BR Coilovers

Ive been doing a lot of searching around about 35r setups on 2.3's, as thats what I am doing in the next few weeks. If you cant get 500hp with a 35r on 93 octane, something is wrong. Im going with a hta3586. I know I will hit 500m hell, im gonna try for 600 lol.

I cant help you on the dtm products though, dont know anything about them.

500whp shouldn't be a problem on a 2.3 on pump 93. I made 500whp on pump 91. Not sure about DTM quality either.

Which 35r do you have? hta82, hta86, gtx3582, standard 3582? Who's kit do you have? If I get a new kit, It'll probably be turbotrix or ets

35R Mid 20's will yield 500whp. Personally, I'm starting to really like the new 6266 turbocharger. We have been doing a lot of testing on the X and it seems to be one of the best turbochargers we have tried to date. The responsiveness is insane and the top end is nothing short of amazing.

25 psi is mid 500's 35 psi is in the 700's

Good Luck Man!

Thank you Michael, the 6266 sounds great. I may want to get that instead

2.3 on a gt35r will definitely get you to 500whp let alone crank hp.

Check my sig... 502whp on completely stock motor (minus cosworth 272 cams, valvesprings, and head bolts) with a hta35r turbo kit at 29psi. I made 531whp at 31psi but there was a couple counts of knock so we turned the boost down.
I plan on 600-650whp on 93oct with my 2.4lr setup: 10:1 comp, new fuel setup, no blance shafts, ported TB/IM, spoolin up COP, and some light head work. So aim higher
