sure looks like it necks-down to me.

I'm just sayin, they need to update their product photos because they aren't doing themselfs any justice what so ever by having a pic of an inferior product representing their exhaust.

This shows that it doesn't neck down.

second pic is CLEARLY necked down. as posted by alwaysinboost.

the website photos are necked down. as the OP said, the company said it was a prototype exhaust and pics have not been updated.

they are definitely losing sales with the picture. any bottle neck in the exhaust robs power. it disrupts the gas flow from laminar flow to turbulent flow. however if the cat outlet is NOT 3" or 80mm per ad, then it wont rob power with the reduction at the cat. on the other hand if u have a 3" cat and introduced the bottle neck, then it robs power.

All of those pictures show the exhaust necked-down, it's just hard to tell due to the angle the picture is taken

+ 1 on a update. About to bite the bullet on this exhaust and I'm having a bit of trouble on getting a definitive answer on how it sounds on an Evo 9. To the OP, any thoughts?

Any updates? I wish the Hangars on the exhaust were much better....Years to come the welds will eventually break off.
