Just had some mods and a tune done on my 6 and was a bit dissapointed with the result, mods were a greddy td 06 turbo including manifold, dump and external gate, bosh 044 fuel pump, cosworth 272's, 1000cc injectors and an intercooler piping kit and it only made 295 HP atw on 1.5 bar, tuner said reason is because of a faulty spring in the wastegate sticking, when boost comes on its stays at 1.5 till around 6500 rpm then drops to 1.3ish and backfires like crazy, regardless I would've thought it'd pull alot more power than that, any suggestions cos it cost a bit to do all that and I'm not keen to spend more trying to sort it out....

 

You need chek for boost leaks... What the gap of your spark plugs??

Just compared the new dyno sheet with the old one and on the stock motor and turbo ning 1.3
bar i was getting 267 hp atw and 390 nm of tourqe and the new setup is 295.5 hp atw and 363 nm of tourqe at 1.5 bar....

 

You need to do a boost leak test, check your spark plugs, regap to .019 and boost your car to 25 psi .
