Help!

So I wanted a boost gauge for my Evo. I found an aem boost controller on Craig's list for cheap so I went ahead buying it thinking I could just use it as a boost gauge. Now I had it installed today and the guy forgot that I told him I just wanted to use it for a boost gauge so now he is saying I have to come back so be can unplug some stuff. My car is running 10 lbs of boost right now and it is slow as hell. Since its a controller can I just set it to stock psi? I'm a newb at this so please give me some advice on what I should do. I definitely made a rookie mistake. Thanks bros

Well I would buy an actual boost gauge. Unless you got the aem tru-boost. But it sounds like you didnt. I would use this site to find something. But Lancershop is very expensive.http://www.lancershop.com/customer/home.php?cat=12 But I would also do a boost leak test. Search boost leak test to find out more tho. And then I would schedule a time for a reputable shop to look at your car. GL

Ok. I would do a boost leak test. And just make sure that all of the pipes and tb arent leaking. And I would check all the vaccum lines, to make sure they are right.
