Idle Problem

Hi, I have an idle problem sometimes when I start my evo (could be cold or warm) it starts idling low around 500 for a couple of seconds and then picks up to 1000 (I dont touch the accelerator during this time) but then its fine, its strange

I have another problem which I think is connected, when im turning the car in a small area when I have to go back and forth a couple of times the cars RPM's drop again to about 500 and nearly cuts off just when I let off the accelerator and press the brake and clutch down. Its pretty annoying, but if I give it pleanty of revs going back and forth its fine but then theres consequences to that.

Does anyone have this problem or something similar?

Yes I heard that alot of them problems occur account of the IAC or throttle body. Will try it hopefully in the next few days, will reply back, thanks.

Well I had my car checked today, we cleaned the throttle body (which was pretty clean already), took out the IAC valve which again was pretty clean and was free enough but we cleaned it anyway.

The mechanic then thought about checking the EGR valve, it was filthy, so we cleaned that all out and blew it out wit the air compressor.

Still bad news, brought it around the workshop and tried going back and forth and happened again.

The mechanic then tried doing same and he came to the conclusion that the brake servo was taking too much air and when I do be turning, with the revs dropping automatically when im coming to stop and then the servo putting more pressure on the engine its making the revs drop very low.

He then kind of proved that by taking the air line from the brake servo and the engine revs dropped and started struggling again.

Can anyone think of any solution? Or think it cold be anything else?
