Apology

I wanted to send an apology to whoever it was I almost rear ended on wednesday morning. Going north on 101 near Santa Rosa, it was wet out, and I was driving my Honda (I don't take the evo to work) and someone drving a gray IX MR I believe, slammed on their brakes and it was almost really bad. Gave me a pretty dirty look and I don't blame him. So if you're out there, sorry man.

A few months ago I got pulled over for following too closely. I didn't get a ticket but the whole time the officer was lecturing me, I couldn't help from thinking, "My brakes are bigger than the wheels on the car in front of me, I'd be ok even if he did floorboard the brakes haha"

Its amazing how much better an evo stops compared to 99% of all other cars out there. Especially a Honda with no ABS

EvoEmpire is the best bet as NorCalEvo is a ghost town.

so true op next time just shoot him the bird and let him hear that vtak BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPP

and i agree about the evos stopping capabilities especially with upgraded rotors and pads. this morning on the way to work i about hit a deer and it was wet here as well. i never have really slammed the brakes on my car before because ive never had the situation that needed it but it about peeled my face off and put it on the window.

Lol I'm not really a fan of the lowered Hondas with an obnoxious exhaust, mines bone stock, what I had before my evo. Didn't want to waste money on it while I was saving for a down payment. Just a commuter, but I drive like 750 miles a week for work. Couldn't justify putting that on the evo.

It still doesn't justify following someone closely. Its outright dangerous, and annoying to the driver you're following.

even a stock evo can lock the brakes up .. its the tire that actually stops the car and the best brakes in the world dont help with moderate tires. Lol.

Thumbsup to the op for saving an evo though.
